L2 Netskope Proxy Engineer - IT Infrastructure (3-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Proxy Infrastructure Management : Deploy, manage, and optimize enterprise PROXY infrastructures, with a strong emphasis on Netskope.

- System Integration : Integrate proxy solutions with various enterprise systems, including AD/IAM (Active Directory/Identity and Access Management), SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), SNOW (ServiceNow), VPNs, and REST/APIs.

- Advanced Troubleshooting : Perform in-depth troubleshooting across OSI layers 17, including conducting packet capture/analysis (Wireshark) to diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues.

- Automation : Automate routine tasks and workflows via scripting (Python/Shell) and leveraging SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) platforms/SDKs.

- Incident & Change Management Leadership : Lead incident, change, and capacity management activities within a 24x7 NOC environment, ensuring quick resolution and effective implementation of changes.

- Mentorship & Coordination : Mentor L1/L2 support teams, fostering skill development and knowledge transfer. Coordinate closely with vendors for technical assistance (TAC/RMA).

- Documentation & Compliance : Maintain comprehensive SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), runbooks, and SLAs (Service Level Agreements). Ensure audit compliance and meticulous documentation of all processes and configurations.

Required Skills :

- 3 to 10 years of experience in network security, with at least 3 years specifically in PROXY solutions (Netskope preferred).

- Strong experience in Windows/Linux/Unix environments.

- Proficient in scripting (Python/Shell), with practical experience in REST API and SDK automation.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership qualities.

- Comfortable working in a shift-based environment and adept at handling high-pressure situations.

- Ability to perform packet capture and analysis using tools like Wireshark.

- Solid understanding of network protocols and the OSI model.
