Software Development Engineer - Test II - Java/Selenium/Appium (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET-2 with 3+ years of experience in software testing, automation, and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Mobile Automation using Appium, Selenium (Java), Web UI Automation, and API testing.

This role requires someone who takes ownership of product quality, has excellent debugging skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Mobile (Appium) and Web UI (Selenium Java).

- Perform manual testing when necessary to ensure product quality.

- Develop and execute API tests to validate backend services.

- Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and testing.

- Debug issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with developers for resolution.

- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test reports.

- Perform test execution, bug tracking, and reporting using tools like JIRA.

- Ensure continuous integration and test automation as part of CI/CD pipelines.

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.

- Take ownership of the product quality and proactively identify improvements.

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Mobile Automation using Appium.

- Strong expertise in Selenium (Java) Web UI Automation.

- Proficiency in manual testing and API testing.

- Good knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience with test case writing, test execution, and bug tracking.

- Familiarity with testing tools like JIRA, Selenium, and Appium.

- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and own the product quality.

- A quick learner who can adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

- Should have hands-on experience in testing manually both API and web and mobile applications.

- Hands on experience in design and development of automation test scenarios using Appium, Selenium.
