Job Description : MDM Architect

Location : Bangalore, India and Oman

Position Overview :

The MDM Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions that optimize enterprise data quality, governance, and integration. This role requires a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of relevant experience in MDM architecture, data management, and related technologies. The position will be based in Bangalore, India, with frequent assignments in Oman.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement Master Data Management solutions, frameworks, and strategies tailored to organizational needs.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define MDM requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Develop and maintain technical architectures for data integration, data quality, and data governance.

- Lead MDM projects, including data modeling, migration, and integration across various platforms and technologies.

- Ensure compliance with data governance policies, standards, and best practices.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams working on MDM-related initiatives.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of MDM systems and processes.

- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate MDM solutions with enterprise systems and applications.

- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of master data to ensure data consistency and integrity.

- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in MDM and data management.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- At least 10 years of experience in Master Data Management, including at least 4 years in an MDM Architect role.

- Expertise in MDM tools such as Informatica MDM, Talend, Stibo Systems, or SAP Master Data Governance.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, and data governance concepts.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and MDM integrations.

- Proven ability to lead complex MDM projects with cross-functional teams.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Flexibility to work across Bangalore and Oman locations.

Preferred Skills

- Certifications in MDM tools or data management frameworks.

- Experience with big data technologies and advanced analytics.

- Knowledge of industry-specific standards for data management.

- Multilingual abilities are an added advantage.
