Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Own the administration and governance of the Power BI platform, including workspace
management, user access, dataset refreshes, and performance tuning.
- Ensure all business logic and data transformations are centralized in Snowflake, promoting consistency, scalability, and reusability.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to align with data ingestion pipelines from AWS S3 into Snowflake, and eventually into Power BI ensuring data availability and quality.
- Partner with US-based analytics leaders and business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable BI solutions.
- Standardize reporting templates, visualizations, and data models across business functions to drive consistency and efficiency.
- Promote best practices in data storytelling, enabling business users to derive actionable insights from dashboards.
- Monitor platform usage, performance, and adoption metrics to continuously improve BI delivery and impact.
- Document technical processes, data flows, and platform configurations to support operational continuity and knowledge sharing.
Required Job Skills:
- Ability to lead a team of BI professionals, both in the US and India.
- Proven experience working with Snowflake for centralized data modeling, transformation, and performance optimization.
- Experience supporting business functions such as Finance, Sales, or Operations with BI solutions.
- Strong understanding of KPI, AWS S3 and its role in data ingestion and pipeline orchestration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, lead cross-functional initiatives, and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across time zones.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience managing BI or analytics teams, preferably in a global or matrixed environment.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools (Jira).
- Industry certifications in Power BI, Snowflake, or AWS are a plus.
