Job Description
- * Drive adoption of the Business Intelligence Target Architecture * Establish frameworks, standards and dashboard patterns consistent with the Architecture principles for building or migrating BI applications on cloud (preferably on GCP using BQ integration with SSRS
- * Building operations monitoring hubs on cloud (Preferably on GCP using cloud monitoring and logging)
- * Advanced extensible reporting skills using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), creating formatted crosstab, conditional, drill down, top N, summary, form, OLAP, sub reports, ad-hoc Reports, parameterized Reports, Interactive custom reports
- * Experience in providing SSRS Server Level, Item Level Security accessibility to various reports in multi-user environment * knowledge in analysing data warehouse by building cubes using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- * Expert in writing MDX Queries with experience in creating and customising SSAS Cubes * knowledge in developing cubes using KPIs, calculations, partitions, perspectives and created various user roles in SSAS * Excellent communication skills, analytical Skills, understand business requirement in various domains * Research new trends and technologies in cloud and share with BI and data analytics community by means of workshops, whitepapers, blogs and guide teams * Lead the scoping, and initial pre-project design of candidate BI projects, work with Pre-sales team for new opportunities, interact with customers and CXO leaderships to drive value driven and cost-effective solutions * Optimise BI systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
- * Provide technical leadership and mentorship business users and internal teams on BI tools effective usage on premise/ cloud
- * Innovate and propose new solutions to enhance the BI capabilities of the organisation/client
- * As a key member of the team, work within the COE team to establish effective business intelligence practices and processes for the refresh of core architecture artefacts
- * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- * Provide data analytics architecture and BI tools related subject matter expertise
- Drive regular architecture community and raise awareness of new and emerging data-related industry trends, technologies and regulatory changes
- * Collaborate with business stakeholders at all levels to educate and raise awareness of the target data architecture * Engage with customers and lead business intelligence and data analytics discussions
- Required Experience
- * Overall 12+ years of experience in IT industry with focus on business intelligence and data analytics for last 5+ years * Demonstrated capability as an Architect in multiple large projects * Good understanding on data modelling and ETL processes on cloud (preferably on GCP)
- * Prior experience in leading and directing BI architecture for large enterprises * Prior experience of Optimising BI systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
- * Proven experience of designing, building/migrating/modernising enterprise level BI applications
- * Expertise in building and maintaining complex dashboards and visualisations on premise/cloud
- * Well versed with BI and Data analytics concepts and best practices * Strong experience in building live/batch dashboards on cloud * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- * Familiarity with databases on major cloud platforms (preferably on GCP BigQuery)
- * Good experience in scoping and estimation of RFP s, new opportunities using multiple techniques
- * Experience in building operations monitoring hubs on cloud (Preferably on GCP using cloud monitoring and logging)
- * Prior experience in understanding business requirements and transform into technical design * Experience with wide variety of BI tools (like tableau, splunk, grafana, looker, power BI, Alteryx, Kibana etc) is must
- * Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and SQL is must
- * Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) is a plus
- Primary Skills - GCP, BigQuery, SQL, MSBI Tools (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI), GCP Cloud Monitoring & Logging, BI & Data Analytics Architecture PrinciplesSecondary Skills - Python, DBMS, Tableau / Grafana / Splunk / Alteryx / Kibana (working experience on at least one and understanding of others)
