Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions
- Analyse tender documents, technical specifications, and BOQs
- Prepare and review quantity take-offs and pricing of work items
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and engineering teams to gather necessary inputs
- Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare cost comparisons
- Assist in pre-qualification, tender submission, and bid documentation
- Monitor market trends, rates, and material pricing to ensure competitive estimates
- Support post-tender activities including negotiations and clarifications
- Prepare rate analysis of BOQ items
- Prepare comparative statements
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in estimation and tendering for civil projects
- Strong command over quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and rate analysis
- Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, Primavera, etc.)
- Familiarity with government and private sector tendering processes
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
