Job Title - Senior Executive - Finance & Accounts

Reporting to - General Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

This job opportunity is to support the finance and accounts department in its functions. We are looking for an experienced, results-oriented individual to join our finance & accounts department and take over reporting and reconciliation duties. We need a professional who emphasizes the details necessary to ensure accurate reporting in all areas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficient in preparing and maintaining complete books of account.
• Maintain and update credit card expenses and reconcile.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports for management.
• Exposure to handling external audits.
• Knowledge of Direct & Indirect tax compliance and filing of returns.
• Manage the payroll process including processing payroll, verifying payroll data, and ensuring timely payment.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions and timely tax payments and compliance with all statutory requirements.

JOB DUTIES

• Manage daily accounting operations including recording and documentation.
• Prepare monthly Payroll and file accurate tax returns and maintain proper records.
• Process and verify employee monthly expense statements.
• Preparing of Bank Reconciliation Statement.
• Reconciliations of Accounts Payable & Receivables.
• Implementing internal control procedures.

Education & Qualifications

A graduate or a post graduate degree in commerce (B. Com / M. Com) is required.

Work Experience

• Min. 5-6 years of extensive experience in accounting in a similar industry or sector is preferable.

Technical Skills

The candidate must expertise in financial management software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.

• A results-oriented, working in accounting software such as SAP & Tally.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, Excel Charts, Excel functions & formulas) for budgeting and data management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Power Point Presentation (PPT) for effective communication, presentation and documentation.
• Excellent team player with the ability to build working relationships between and across business teams.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and in a challenging environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Fluent in English and Hindi, other languages being a plus.
• Writing proficiency in both languages is a must.
