Job Description
- Understand the high level problem and decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements or user stories that can be developed and executed by a Developer.
- Gather requirements via brainstorming, questionnaires with stakeholders, competitive product analysis, and workflow analysis.
- Document finalized requirements by creating requirement specifications documents.
- Categorize requirements as user requirements, technical requirements and UI requirements.
- Validate new requirement for its viability against business objective.
- Validate any new requirement for their effect and impact on the existing requirement set of the project.
- In case of any changes in requirement, find out need of the change, analyse the impact of change in all project, propose any workarounds if possible, along with project manager and business owner decide weather to go ahead with change or not.
- Release planning and prioritization of release features/enhancements.
- Prioritize requirements by working closely with project manager and business owner as not all requirement may be important and feasible considering the scope and deadline of the project.
- To visualize how end user will feel the project, work closely with designer to visualize the requirements by creating graphical prototypes and wireframes.
- Mockup presentation to the business owner along with project manager and finalize the prototypes. After finalization represent prototypes to the development team.
- Do the testing of the features of project and also assist the testing team in test case preparation
- Validate that the developed products meet the requirements and confirms that a solution based on the requirements would meet customer needs and achieve the business objectives
- Manage multiple projects and align them with business priorities and deadlines.
- Capability to analyze and assess all the components of a problem and an exceptional skill to communicate and document complex business and technical concepts & requirements.
- Proven ability to function well in a team environment.
- Must be proactive, self-directed, self-motivated, detailed, quick learner and organized.
- Excellent analytical, communication, debugging and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
