Automation Test Engineer - Java/Selenium (2-4 yrs)

What You'll Do :

- Own end-to-end automation for web, mobile (Android), and backend APIs.

- Build and maintain robust automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, RestAssured or Playwright).

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, or similar).

- Write reusable, scalable test scripts for regression, sanity, and smoke suites.

- Proactively identify test gaps and catch bugs before our users do.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and customer success to clarify and refine test scenarios.

- Set up observability for test executions (reporting, dashboards, flaky test detection).

- Drive a culture of test-first thinking in sprints and releases.

What You Bring to the Table :

- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in test automation for large-scale applications.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred).

- Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress.

- Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.

- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools, and basic DevOps workflows.

- Ability to think critically, break systems, and root cause failures.

- Strong communication and ownership mindset-you don't wait for others to fix what's broken.

Bonus If You Have :

- Experience testing highly configurable enterprise platforms or multi-tenant SaaS.

- Built automation in microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with performance/load testing.

- Contribution to open-source or community tools for automation.
