Job Skills and Responsibilties :
Title: Selenium Automation Test Engineer/Tester
Department: QA/Testing
Purpose: To ensure the reliability, performance and quality of web and mobile applications through automated testing using Selenium and Appium.
Key Responsibilities:
Create automated test scripts using Selenium and Appium.
Design data-driven and hybrid testing approaches.
Execute automated tests for web and mobile applications.
Analyze test results, identify defects and report them to developers.
Perform regression testing to verify fixes and validate new features.
Maintain and update test environments.
Troubleshoot test failures and resolve issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Appium.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python).
Experience with various testing frameworks (e.g.TestNG, JUnit).
Familiarity with cross-browser testing and debugging.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Generate detailed test reports and documentation.
Testing Knowledge:
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and best practices.
Experience in writing and executing automated test cases for both web and mobile applications.
Ability to identify testable events and develop effective test strategies.
Desired Qualifications (Optional):
Experience with performance testing.
Experience with security testing.
Experience with defect management tools.
Relevant certifications.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance with a focus on automation.
