The Role
- The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional as a Corporate Finance expert in the manufacturing domain. Your experience should include managing and optimizing treasury, working capital finance, vendor and sales finance and equity finance.
- In addition to being an SME in this area, you will drive consulting led client engagements and actively support /lead sales opportunities working closely with senior delivery managers, client engagement managers and sales teams. The role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities in this role will include :
- Work on client assignments, typically large digital transformation or AMS programs, as an individual contributor or as a domain leader.
- Engage with client business and IT, and internal stakeholders throughout the phases of an IT program from planning through solutioning and implementing
- Define business/process models considering Industry best practices
- Drive business workshops to define requirements and elaborate functional specifications of an IT solution
- Design Business Use cases, lead Functional Architecture, re-engineer process models and integrate disparate services for end-to-end solution delivery
- Work with Product Owners and business stakeholders to analyse requirements and prepare Product Backlog items.
- Prepare user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Be the Subject Matter Expert in end-end project finance and corporate lending for the client and IT team. Ability to drive transitions and transformations with client and vendor.
Your profile
A Master's or professional degree in a Finance related area (MBA/CA/CPA/FCA) having between 6-15 years of experience in the Manufacturing Domain for roles across levels, covering the following areas or skills:
- 6-15 Years of Consulting experience in at least one of the below domain/functional areas
- Financial budgeting and planning
- GL Accounting
- Cost accounting & Transfer pricing
- Financial reporting & Closures
- Experience must be as a domain/business consultant, analyst or industry practitioner
- Hands-on experience in Finance transformation projects , preferably with exposure to ANY ONE or more tools like Blackline, Trintech, SAP S4 HANA, Oracle Cloud, Tagetik, Alteyrx, Redwood, HighRadius.
- Experience as a domain/business consultant or business analyst OR an industry practitioner
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Experience in facilitating meetings and drive discussions with senior customer executives, business users, and IT team members
