Job Description

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and AWS to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services, while working on complex microservices-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend services and microservices.

- Build APIs and backend systems using Spring Boot in a microservices architecture.

- Develop event-driven systems and integrations using Kafka or Apache Camel.

- Work with AWS cloud services to build and manage infrastructure and services.

- Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of distributed systems.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile development processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java (versions 8/11/17).

- Proficiency in Spring Boot and developing RESTful APIs.

- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and patterns.

- Experience with Kafka or Apache Camel for messaging and integration.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS, including :

- EC2, ECS, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Good to Have :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.).
