Job Description

Job Overview:

The role holder plays a pivotal role in driving sales of medical gas products and accessories across the designated geography. The role holder plays a crucial role in managing relationships with the customers, OE, contractors, EPC within a specific geography and achieving sales targets through effective consultative/technical selling. The role holder is also responsible for account receivables in line with agreed terms and conditions.


Role & responsibilities:

  • Ensures strategic alignment, profitability, and growth.
  • Work closely with the Aftermarket Team to address customer complaints.
  • Collaborate to ensure on-time delivery and updation to customer status of the project.
  • Manages long-term relationships and ensures high satisfaction.
  • Execute sales strategy aligned with divisional goals to achieve the set targets.
  • Builds strong customer relationships to drive business.
  • Adhere to ELGi sales processes for long-term sustainability. Timely updations of enquiries / order won /order loss.
  • Timely communication on competition activities such as new product launches, change in GTM, pricing strategy.
  • Secures favorable pricing, terms, and contracts to enhance revenue and ensure timely collections of account receivables.
  • Collaborates with the relevant external stakeholder to strengthen Pattons market penetration through effective networking, brand awareness, and product positioning.
  • Implements MGPS sales strategy by meeting potential customers with rigour by following relevant steps in the sales funnel i.e Awareness, Consideration and Conversion to achieve budgeted sales targets.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • 6 to 12 years.
  • Above mentioned relevant sales experience with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Experience in the sales of equipment / laboratory products / instruments in medical industry.
  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or Engineering.
