Job Description


Job Title: International Sales Head Cigarette Division

Location: Nashik, Maharashtra
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Director Global Sales / CEO

Job Purpose:

To lead and expand the international sales operations for the cigarette business. The role involves identifying new markets, managing global distributors, ensuring regulatory compliance in export markets, and driving revenue and profit growth from overseas sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute international sales strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage international distributors and partners across Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to tobacco export in various geographies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor landscape, and potential market entry points.
  • Drive P&L responsibility for international markets; set targets and track performance.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and regulatory teams to ensure timely and compliant deliveries.
  • Represent the company in international trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Manage pricing, contracts, and negotiations with overseas clients and government bodies where required.
  • Monitor and optimize working capital and payment terms for export markets.
  • Develop brand strategies tailored to different international markets, balancing global consistency with local relevance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in international sales, with at least 5 years in the tobacco industry.
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation, international logistics, and regulatory norms related to tobacco.
  • Proven experience in managing large international accounts and distributor networks.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in a global time zone environment.

  • Strong analytical and strategic planning ability.
  • Cross-cultural understanding and adaptability.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a global sales team.
  • Proficiency in export documentation and ERP systems.
