- Oracle Installing, configuring, managing, monitoring troubleshooting.
- Sound knowledge in database performance tuning and capacity analysis.
- Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
- Design backup recovery policies including DR configuration and maintenance.
- Check the general health of the server (space, CPU utilization, memory etc) .
- Experienced in UNIX commands shell scripting.
- Applying suitable patches whenever it s needed.
- Implement best practices.
- Hardening of DB .
- Hands on experience in dealing DB having sizeable volume
