Roles & Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Analyze BESS market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and define sales tactics. Arrive at the right product-market fit and commercials to achieve market leadership in deploying 2nd life batteries.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's goals and market opportunities
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets while fostering a high-performance culture
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Sales Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics to monitor sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management on progress against targets
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives
- Training and Development: Oversee the development of training programs for the sales team to enhance their skills in negotiation, customer engagement, and product knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 5-10 yrs of experience in sales management/ strategy within the Power, BESS or related industries
- Proven track record of developing successful sales strategies and achieving revenue targets
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing diverse teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
