Data Engineer - ETL/SQL/Python (2-4 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in Vijayawada on a 6-8 month contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that enables our organization to effectively store, process, and analyze large datasets. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database technologies. Fluency in Telugu is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Responsibilities :

Data Infrastructure Design and Development :

- Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures.

- Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes.

- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.

Data Processing and Analysis :

- Develop and implement data processing solutions using relevant technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark).

- Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and cleansing processes.

- Support data analysis and reporting needs by providing accessible and reliable data.

Database Management :

- Manage and optimize database systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Develop and maintain database schemas and data models.

- Ensure database performance and security.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. -

- Document data processes and infrastructure.

Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting :

- Identify and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and implement solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. -

- 2-4 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.

- Programming experience with Python or other scripting languages.

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.

- Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Fluency in Telugu (Must).

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).

- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
