Job Summary
We are seeking experienced L2/L3 Engineers with strong expertise in Thales Hardware Security Modules (HSM), cryptography, and payment operations. The ideal candidate should also have solid skills on Microsoft Azure, preferably with hands-on experience working on the Azure Payment HSM offering. You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing secure payment cryptographic operations within the organization's payment ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide L2L3 level support for Thales HSM infrastructure
• Manage, configure, and maintain HSM devices, including key management and cryptographic services
• Support payment operations and troubleshoot cryptographic processing issues
• Collaborate with payment application and infrastructure teams to ensure secure integration with HSM
• Perform regular security audits and compliance checks on the cryptographic environment
• Work with Microsoft Azure's Payment HSM offerings to integrate secure key storage and management
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for any HSM-related failures
• Prepare and maintain documentation for HSM processes, configurations, and procedures
Skills & Qualifications
• 3years of experience working with Thales HSM in a payments environment
• Strong understanding of cryptographic concepts (key generation, key injection, encryption/decryption, etc.)
• Experience in payment transaction security and payment cryptographic operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, preferably hands-on with Azure Payment HSM
• Familiarity with PCI DSS and other relevant payment security standards
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex payment/cryptographic issues
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
