Senior Electronics Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Electronics Engineer with >5 years of experience to work on SMT-based modules, circuit tracing, soldering, and PCB assembly. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in surface-mount technology (SMT), winding, soldering, and assembling electronic components. Strong knowledge of circuit design, troubleshooting, and bill of materials (BoM) preparation for complex PCB modules is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work on SMT-based electronic modules, handling assembly, soldering, and testing.
• Perform circuit tracing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic components and modules.
• Ensure efficient work planning of the team especially in new programs.
• Solder and wind electronic components with precision for high-reliability applications.
• Develop and maintain BoM (Bill of Materials) for complex PCB modules and assemblies.
• Work on PCB design, prototyping, and modifications as per project requirements.
• Perform quality checks and testing of assembled modules to meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with design and R&D teams to improve circuit layouts and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and defense-grade electronics manufacturing standards.
• Document work processes, test results, and modifications to ensure proper tracking and repeatability.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Min 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly, SMT soldering, and PCB design.
• Strong knowledge of circuit tracing, troubleshooting, and debugging electronic modules.
• Proficiency in handling fine-pitch soldering, transformer winding, and component placement.
• Experience in BoM preparation and component selection for complex PCBs.
• Familiarity with ECAD tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCad, or similar) for PCB design and layout.
• Ability to work with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and testing equipment for circuit validation.
• Understanding of MIL-STD requirements for defense-grade electronics (preferred).
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher Degree in Electronics, or related field.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards for soldering and PCB assembly.
• Familiarity with automated SMT pick-and-place machines (a plus).
