Job Description
- This position is responsible for providing legal support at a pan bank level and acting as a link between different units, branches and internal/external customers
- Handling and resolving all day-to-day matters relating to legal issues (including but not limited to legal notices, etc.) of the organization in a timely manner and framing legal views for such matters.
- Drafting and vetting all kinds of agreements for the organization such that the interests of the organization are protected.
- Work with the teams working on non-litigation matters.
- Ensure extending problem-solving skills to create value
- Due diligence of lands and structuring of acquisitions.
- Lead initiatives to put in place best in class systems and processes in order to improve team performance
- Vetting of documents such as Agreement for Sale, Leave License Agreement, Lease Agreement, Development Agreements, Deed of Conveyance, Tenancy Agreement, Deed of Gift, Documents related to Mortgage - Hypothecation - Pledge, Power of Attorney, Affidavit and other documents pertaining to litigation.
- Internal Interactions: Law firms, Council, Advocates, Solicitors 8
- Minimum practice of 5+ years in NBFC /Banking /Financial Services and having handled matters involving property laws including revenue related proceedings, Title search etc
