Finanshels - Finance Manager (5-10 yrs)

Why This Role Exists

As we scale across geographies and verticals, we need a Finance Manager who can own internal finance end-to-end - from reporting and compliance to budgeting and financial control.

This isn't a back-office role. You'll be the strategic financial backbone working directly with the founders and ops team to bring clarity, discipline, and foresight to everything we build.

What You'll Own

- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Own monthly P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements - with actionable insights.

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual and quarterly budget cycles, scenario planning, and burn runway tracking.

- Internal Controls: Implement SOPs for expense control, procurement, and vendor payments.

- Compliance & Tax: Coordinate filings (VAT, income tax, TDS, etc.) across UAE and India, working with local advisors.

- Audit & Governance: Handle statutory audits, due diligence processes, and internal audits with accuracy and speed.

- Tooling & Automation: Improve finance stack - from Excel to Zoho to ERP, whatever works best for scale.

- Cross-functional Partner: Work closely with the Founder's Office, Ops, Legal, and HR teams for spend control, payroll, and reporting.

What You Bring

- 5-8 years of experience in core finance roles (startup or high-growth company experience is a bonus)

- Strong command over financial statements, compliance, tax structuring, and reporting

- Hands-on experience with budgeting tools, Tally/Zoho/ERP systems, and Excel modeling

- Familiarity with UAE and India compliance frameworks (VAT, TDS, ROC, payroll, etc.)

- Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with high ownership

- Bonus: CA / MBA Finance with strong execution muscle
