ETL Testing Professional

We are seeking an experienced ETL Testing Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure high-quality data flows seamlessly between systems. You will work closely with both developers and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency throughout the ETL process. Key Responsibilities: ETL Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for ETL processes, ensuring the correct transformation, mapping, and loading of data across systems. Test Case Development: Write, execute, and document detailed test cases to validate ETL jobs, ensuring accurate data movement and transformation. Data Validation: Perform data validation by comparing source and target data for consistency and accuracy. Test Automation: Utilize ETL testing tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Apache Nifi) and test automation scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve testing efficiency. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing for ETL jobs during system updates or changes to ensure data pipelines are working as expected. Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring issues are resolved by the development team in a timely manner. Performance Testing: Verify ETL performance under different loads and data volumes, ensuring the ETL process meets performance benchmarks. Collaboration: Work with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements and provide feedback on ETL processes.
