you will play a critical role in monitoring security systems, alarms, and emergency situations, ensuring a swift and effective response to safeguard people, property, or assets. You will be responsible for real-time monitoring, coordination, and communication during emergency incidents. Key Responsibilities : Real-Time Monitoring : Continuously monitor security systems, alarms, and emergency notifications to detect and assess incidents. Incident Response : Coordinate and initiate appropriate responses to emergency situations, including notifying emergency services, security personnel, and relevant stakeholders. Communication : Maintain clear and accurate communication with internal and external parties, providing incident updates and instructions as needed. Alarm Management : Respond to alarms and alerts, verifying the nature of the incident and determining the appropriate course of action. Emergency Procedures : Implement and follow established emergency response procedures and protocols. Documentation : Maintain detailed records of incidents, alarms, responses, and actions taken. Technology Use : Utilize monitoring and communication systems, such as CCTV, alarm systems, two-way radios, and computer-based monitoring tools. Emergency Contact : Serve as a point of contact for employees, tenants, or visitors during emergency situations, offering guidance and assistance. Risk Assessment : Assess the level of threat or danger posed by emergency situations and make recommendations for additional security measures if necessary. Training : Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with emergency response procedures and technologies. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus). Proven experience in emergency monitoring, security, or a related field. Knowledge of emergency response procedures and protocols. Familiarity with security and monitoring systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in high-stress situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills for monitoring and reporting. First Aid/CPR certification and emergency response training is a plus.
