Tenure Process: Work toward achieving tenure by meeting specific criteria, which typically include demonstrating excellence in teaching, research, and service. Associate Professor: Teaching: Continue to instruct and mentor students while potentially taking on more advanced or specialized courses. Research: Maintain an active research agenda, often with a stronger emphasis on leadership and publication in their field. Advising: Continue advising and mentoring students, including those pursuing advanced degrees.
