Overview The TIBCO Operational Intelligence product group is responsible for TIBCOs Log Management & Analysis, Monitoring & Management and Software Provisioning products. OI products are used for centralized management of events from Cloud and Enterprise based application and systems to derive key intelligence for application troubleshooting and monitoring, systems monitoring, compliance, auditing and alerting within Telcos, financial services firms and other industries where decisions must be made using massive volumes of machine data. The OI product line includes Cloud based systems, Hardware and Software appliances and tools to collect and analyze log and metrics data from thousands of devices and applications. Responsibilities Design & implement tools & frameworks to enable developers and QA engineers deliver high- quality micro- services through rapid build - test - deploy cycles Help with the definition of the future direction of the architecture driving the CI/ CD of micro- services on TIBCO Cloud Integration Platform Create efficient automated deployment workflows supporting development through testing and staging deployments Analyze, troubleshoot and fix failures and issues in "build - test - deploy" CI/ CD pipelines Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to enable code deploys multiple times in a day through clean automation scripts Communicate and collaborate with co- located and distributed team of architects, developers, qa engineers, and product managers to resolve issues, and provide status updates Qualifications BS with 5 or MS with 3 years industry experience in software development and/ or IT systems. Strong working knowledge in Python, Shell scripting and at least one programming language, Java/ C/ C Experience with Linux and linux based operating systems. Experience with continuous integration tools(at least one, Team City preferred): Jenkins, Team City, Bamboo, Travis CI. Experience with virtualization, LXC and container technologies: Docker, Vagrant, CoreOs Experience with cloud computing and infrastructure technologies(at least one, AWS preferred): AWS, Azure, Google Experience with Git version control system and JIRA bug tracking system Working knowledge of Restful APIs, design, development and testing Experience with automation frameworks and configuration management(at least one, Ansible preferred): Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt Strong proponent of DevOps practices with a passion to automate "anything" and "everything" Proven experience in working with cross- functional teams(architects, developers, QA, Product Managers) in an agile scrum environment Strong communication and collaboration skills
