Portfolio Manager (4-10 yrs)

About the Role:

We are looking for a sharp, self-driven Portfolio Manager to lead trading strategy design, development, and execution across high-frequency and medium-frequency environments. This role is ideal for someone with deep market understanding, a proven track record in alpha generation, and a strong tech/data mindset.

You'll work in a highly autonomous setup with full ownership over capital deployment, team coordination (if required), and PnL performance - backed by strong infrastructure and a fast-moving culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, test, and deploy alpha-generating trading strategies in equities, futures, options, or crypto

- Own and manage live PnL - from idea generation to execution and scaling

- Work with quant researchers and engineers to improve performance and execution

- Monitor and optimize risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe, Calmar, drawdowns, etc.)

- Build and iterate research pipelines, simulation environments, and signal libraries

- Use your market intuition + data insights to stay ahead of the curve

- Optionally, lead a small team of traders or researchers depending on scope and fit

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 4-10 years of experience as a Portfolio Manager, Trader, or Strategy Owner in HFT/MFT or quant trading setup

- Proven live trading performance with a strong PnL record

- Deep understanding of market microstructure and execution nuances

- Strong hands-on skills in Python / C++ / R / MATLAB or other quantitative programming tools

- Comfort with data analysis, modeling, and backtesting frameworks

- Bachelor's/Master's in Maths, Stats, Engineering, Computer Science, or Finance

- Exposure to global markets (NSE, BSE, CME, Binance, etc.) is a plus
