Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in our chemical plant.

The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and technologies

1. Candidate must be well versed with Operational Safety practices and must have worked in shifts.
2. Willingness to work with ones hands.
3. Teamwork skills - collaborate with other operators
4. Excellent communication, Problem-solving skills, which enable an operator to solve and repair system issues efficiently and effectively
5. Routinely inspecting electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
6. Identifying faults or hazards.
7. Troubleshooting system failures.
8. Reviewing blueprints to understand wiring placement.
9. Testing of electrical systems with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
10. Conducting maintenance repairs on old or faulty fixtures.
11. Equipment replacement.
12. Writing electrical maintenance reports.
13. Installing new electrical appliances in the building.
14. Adhering to safety and performance standards.
15. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
16. Physically strong and able to stand for long periods.
17. Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
18. Collaborate with other operators and teams to achieve production goals
19. Maintain accurate records and reports
20. Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
21. Working with other worker teams in job execution.
