Growth99 - Senior Software Developer - Java Technologies (4-7 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer (Java) to join our innovative and fast-paced team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that power mission-critical applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.

- Build and optimize server-side logic to ensure high performance and responsiveness.

- Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Create and manage APIs for seamless communication between different system components.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing codebases and system architecture.

- Implement security and data protection measures.

- Work with database systems, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer, with at least 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.

- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, or other Java frameworks.

- Proficient in building RESTful APIs and working with Microservices Architecture.

- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)

- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS.

- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.

- Solid understanding of design patterns and best coding practices.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with DevOps tools is a plus.

- Experience with code review practices

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Experience with messaging, notification & queue systems like Twilio, SendGrid, SES, SQS and SNS .

- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
