GrowthX - Software Development Engineer II - Backend Development (3-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop and scale core backend services and infrastructure to support high-traffic applications.

- Architect and enhance infrastructure for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.

- Design and implement APIs, microservices, and system integrations.

- Build and optimize data pipelines for real-time processing and analytics.

- Optimize database performance and ensure the ability of backend systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-scale features and improve system performance.

- Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and cloud infrastructure management.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of backend development experience in high-scale environments.

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for web development and/or Python for RAG applications.

- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications and OpenAI embeddings.

- Strong understanding of APIs and their best practices.

- Familiarity with Redis and caching strategies.

- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

- Ability to articulate and reason through architectural decisions.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to SQL and NoSQL databases.

Good to have :

- Experience with search technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr, etc.).

- Background in job boards, programmatic search, or large-scale marketplaces.

- Exposure to AI/ML-driven applications and data-driven decision-making.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
