Network Support Manager

Role & responsibilities

• LAN & WLAN Configuration: Design, configure, and manage LAN and WLAN networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including firmware updates, hardware replacements, and network health checks.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize network performance through effective tuning and configuration.
• Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools to continuously assess network performance and identify potential issues.
• Documentation: Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and compliance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to support network-related needs and integrate new technologies.
• Project Management: Plan and execute network projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
• Training: Mentor and support junior network engineers in resolving complex network issues.
• People Management: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Governance: Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Develop and enforce governance frameworks to maintain IT standards. Drive WSRs and MSRs
• Shift Roaster: Should be able to prepare roasters for the team and assign tickets
• SLA tracking : Should be able to track and adhere SLAs

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, VMWare, endpoint administration, and MDM solutions.
• Experience with SolarWinds or similar network monitoring tools.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with network security measures and tools.
• Ability to advise on process accountability, data monitoring, and exception monitoring.
• Experience in managing and optimizing technical business performance, including automation and simplification of business processes
