Role & responsibilities
Gulf Infotech is hiring an experienced Microsoft 365 Deployment Engineer to plan, deploy, configure, and
support Microsoft 365 cloud solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on
experience with Intune, DLP, IRM, Microsoft Defender, Power Apps, Windows 11, and a deep understanding
of Microsoft 365 plans and features.
Additionally, the role requires solid experience in migrating emails from other platforms to Microsoft 365, and
a strong understanding of DNS management, DMARC, DKIM, SPF, and related email security best practices.
The candidate should be able to deliver training for both IT administrators and end users, ensuring a smooth
transition and effective adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Intune (MDM/MAM policies, device
compliance).
- Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Information Rights Management (IRM) policies.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud Apps.
- Set up Power Apps for basic solutions and user onboarding.
- Manage Windows 11 upgrades, configurations, and rollout.
- Plan and execute email migrations from existing platforms to Microsoft 365.
- Configure and verify DNS records for mail flow, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Guide customers on licensing, plan selection, and Microsoft 365 features.
- Train administrators on platform management and security.
- Train end users on Microsoft 365 tools and collaboration features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, configuration, and migration issues.
- Document configurations, SOPs, and best practices.
- Manage support tickets within defined SLAs using a ticketing system.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft product updates and advise customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience deploying and configuring Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Proven experience with Intune, DLP, IRM, Defender suite, Power Apps, Windows 11.
- Strong experience in email migration projects (Google Workspace, on-prem Exchange, etc.).
- Managing DNS, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 plans and licensing.
- Ability to train administrators and end users.
- Good understanding of identity and access management (AAD, MFA).
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (MD-102, MS-500, SC-900) are an advantage.
