Business Development Manager, US IT Staffing

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and acquire new clients for US IT staffing and consulting services.
  
• Generate qualified leads through cold calling, emailing, networking, and social media outreach.
  
• Build a robust sales pipeline and drive business development efforts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  
• Understand client requirements and present tailored staffing solutions.
  
• Negotiate terms, rates, and contracts with prospective clients.
  
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral.
  
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in CRM systems.
  
• Stay updated on US IT staffing trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in Business Development/Sales in US IT staffing and consulting.
  
• Proven track record of acquiring new US clients in the IT staffing domain.
  
• Strong knowledge of US staffing processes, visa types (H1B, OPT, GC, etc.), and tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099).
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  
• Ability to generate leads independently and work under pressure to achieve sales targets.
  
• Comfortable working US time zones (EST/CST/PST) as required.
  
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and online networking platforms like LinkedIn.

• Existing network of potential US clients, direct vendors, or system integrators.
  
• Experience selling both contract staffing and direct hire services.
  
• Previous experience working with staffing companies with offshore operations.
