Wholesale Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Wholesale Sourcing Manager who can independently bulk source lehengas directly from manufacturers and export houses across India. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ethnic wear sourcingespecially lehengasand a deep vendor network within India’s key manufacturing hubs (e.g., Surat, Jaipur, Delhi, Kolkata). This person will play a key role in building our wholesale business by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and trend-relevant product supply.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Vendor Sourcing
• Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with lehenga manufacturers and export houses.
• Onboard new vendors with strong production capability, quality control, andndelivery timelines.
• Negotiate costs, lead times, MOQs, and credit/payment terms.
• Bulk Buying & Procurement
• Source lehengas across bridal, festive, and contemporary categories at scale.
• Drive cost efficiencies and margin optimization for the wholesale business.
• Coordinate bulk buying cycles in alignment with wholesale demand.
• Product Selection & Development
• Curate assortments in collaboration with the wholesale sales team.
• Stay updated with market trends to ensure relevant product curation.
• Work with vendors on sample approvals, customization, and exclusives when needed.
• Quality & Delivery Oversight
• Ensure consistent product quality across all orders.
• Track production timelines, conduct periodic quality checks, and manage vendor accountability.
• Coordinate with internal logistics and warehouse teams for smooth fulfillment.
• Export House Collaboration
• Leverage relationships with export houses for international-standard products.
• Ensure documentation, compliance, and packaging are suitable for overseas shipments if applicable.

Who Should Apply

• Experience:
• 3–7 years in sourcing, procurement, or buying in women’s ethnic wear (lehengas preferred).
• Must have hands-on experience with export houses or direct manufacturers.
• Skills:
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management.
• Understanding of Indian ethnic fashion production cycles, fabrics, and embellishments.
• Strong communication and coordination skills (across design, QC, and logistics).
