Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior analysts responsible for end-to-end credit risk reporting and controls.
- Own onboarding, upskilling, and ongoing capability development.
- Champion global risk standards and embed the Banks risk culture within the offshore team.
Credit Risk Reporting & Analytics
- Oversee production of regulatory and management credit risk reports for senior global governance committees.
- Analyze portfolio movements, risk drivers, and emerging trends with clear executive-level narratives.
- Drive analytical rigor while ensuring storytelling aligns with business context.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as a key interface between offshore and global risk leadership.
- Translate technical risk data into actionable insights for senior, non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment on key priorities and escalate critical insights to global counterparts.
Data Governance & Incident Management
- Ensure adherence to the Data Management Integrated Control Framework (DMICF) and BCBS 239 principles.
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, escalating where needed.
- Enhance controls and transparency across all data flows and risk reports.
Operational Excellence & Innovation
- Manage daily operations, capacity planning, and delivery of high-quality reporting within tight deadlines.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, automation tools, and AI use cases to drive reporting efficiency.
Key Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in financial services, with 8+ years in credit risk reporting or analytics.
- Proven track record in leading offshore teams in a global banking setup.
- Strong grasp of credit risk, banking products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Hands-on expertise in Tableau or other data visualization platforms; exposure to enterprise data systems.
- Solid understanding of data governance, DMICF, and reporting control frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills - adept at bridging technical concepts with executive-level messaging.
- Culturally agile and experienced in managing global stakeholder relationships.
