Head of Sales - Rewards and Recognition Sector
Job Description:
We are seeking an accomplished Head of Sales to lead a high-performing sales team and drive significant growth. This is a critical role for an individual who is passionate about sales, possesses a deep understanding of the Payment Solutions specific to the rewards and recognition landscape, and has a proven track record of scaling B2B SaaS businesses. You will be instrumental in expanding market share, forging strategic partnerships, and solidifying the company's position as a significant solution provider in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and accountability.
- Revenue and Market Share Growth: Drive new business acquisition, identify and pursue new accounts, and expand existing client relationships.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies, and oversee the execution of expansion plans.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Product & Market Insights: Collaborate closely with product development and marketing teams to provide market insights, identify emerging trends, and contribute to product roadmap evolution.
- Sales Operations & Reporting: Implement robust sales processes, leverage CRM effectively, and provide accurate sales forecasting and performance reporting.
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance our market reach and solution offerings.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Approximately 14+ years of post-MBA experience in B2B Sales, with significant experience in a leadership capacity. SaaS experience is desired.
- Industry Expertise: Proven track record of success within Payment Solutions Rewards, Digital Vouchers, Benefits & Engagement, and SaaS platform sectors.
- Educational Background: MBA from a reputable institution.
- Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective sales plans.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Results-Oriented: A highly driven and results-oriented individual with a proven ability to consistently exceed targets.
- Digital Savvy: Deep understanding of digital platforms and the evolving landscape of digital rewards.
