Job Description

Your tasks

Development and transfer to manufacturing of automated assembly equipment to provide improved capacity, quality, yields and cost

Hands-on technical support of automated assembly equipment and processes at manufacturing locations

Specification of new equipment and development of new processes, including co-working with assembly equipment vendors

Performing assessment of new equipment and processes

Project management support for new processes and equipment introduction

Your profile

Educated in an engineering subject to degree level

3+ years experience of high precision assembly in automated assembly environments

Experience of programming high precision electro-mechanical control systems

Experience of PLC controllers programming and in using National Instruments and sequencing software advantageous

Proven ability to develop new assembly processes and to transfer the processes to manufacturing.

Good manual dexterity required, and experience in handling fibre optic products advantageous

Able to conceptualize assembly and automation methods and to understand interactions between components, processes and product performance

Programming knowledge with experience with writing script/tools

Ability to read automatic, pneumatic and electrical diagrams

Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and through written reports both Polish and English

Able to deploy numerical, experimental and statistical problem-solving abilities

Capable of working within a multi-discipline team

Energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to quality and on-time delivery

Experience in laser welding and laser soldering advantageous

Experience of 6 Sigma and LEAN manufacturing methodologies advantageous

Knowlege of BI tools, SPC tools, Industry 4.0 will be an advantage,
