Fixed Income Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of Fixed income & money market securities like G-Sec, SDL, T-Bill, Corporate Bonds & CP/CD.
• Knowledge of Futures and Option & derivative pricing
• Knowledge of various strategies in option.
• Previous work experience preferably Valuation of Fixed income securities/ Dealing in fixed income securities (Buy/Sell)/ Fund management team of Mutual fund.
• Knowledge of concepts like Present value calculation, future value calculation, Mac. Duration, Modified duration, Booth strapping etc.
• Should have fair Idea about the yields of fixed income securities.
• Knowledge of different policies & economic measures taken by RBI to maintain Interest rate in the market.
• Knowledge of concepts like Future/option pricing, Enterprise value calculation (DCF method), Present value calculation, future value calculation, Mac. Duration, Modified duration, Booth strapping etc.
• Should have fair Idea about the yields of fixed income securities and Market linked debentures.
• Should have fair idea about various strategies for eg: strangle, bull call spread etc.

Qualification:

• Postgraduate in Finance (MBA from premium institute/ CFA)
• Experience of 1-3 Years in fixed income market
• Should have good Microsoft-excel skills (Especially functions like V-lookup, H-lookup, Pivot & Financial formulas in excel)
• Good communications & interpersonal skills. VBA Macros Knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Should be a team player and ready to stretch during situation demands.
