Line Quality Inspector

Role & responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspection of aerospace machined components on the production line.
  
• Use precision instruments like micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMMs to verify dimensional accuracy.
  
• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and generate reports per AS9102/AS9100 standards.
  
• Interpret and inspect parts using engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
  
• Identify, document, and report non-conformances (NCRs) and assist in root cause analysis.
  
• Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  
• Collaborate with production and QA teams to support continuous improvement and resolve inspection-related issues.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• 3 to 4 years of hands-on inspection experience in the aerospace or precision engineering industry
  
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace quality standards
  
• Proficient in using inspection tools and interpreting GD&T
  
• Attention to detail, good documentation practices, and teamwork
  
• Experience with FAI, in-process inspection, and understanding of tolerancing
