Technical Lead - Python/React (7-10 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead / Solution Architect to lead the development of a mission-critical platform for the worlds second-largest Telecom company. This platform is the core Fibre and Broadband planning tool used across multiple geographical regions and will eventually be scaled globally.

This is a long-term development initiative involving complex features, enterprise-level integration, and rigorous engineering practices. The role offers a chance to work on a high-visibility, impactful platform with a technically sound, cross-functional global team

Roles and Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures aligned with business objectives.

- Define system-level design specifications and architectural blueprints.

- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements.

Solutioning :

- Understand and translate client requirements into technical solutions.

- Provide end-to-end solutions including backend services, APIs, integrations, and front-end architecture.

- Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Lead and mentor development teams to implement architectural decisions effectively.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, product owners, QA engineers, and DevOps.

- Drive alignment on technology strategy across teams.

Development & Integration :

- Contribute to coding and code reviews, especially for core/critical modules.

- Ensure development processes, coding standards, and best practices are followed.

- Facilitate system integration with third-party and legacy systems.

DevOps & CI/CD :

- Work with DevOps teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.

- Support performance tuning, automated testing (e.g., JMeter, XRay), and quality checks (e.g., SonarQube).

Required Qualifications :

- Strong expertise in back-end development using Python, preferably with frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask.

- Proven experience with front-end development using React.js, including state management (Redux, Context API), hooks, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming in Python.

- Experience with relational and PostGIS databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Familiarity with modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).

- Exposure to version control systems (Git/Bitbucket), CI/CD (Jenkins), and code quality tools (SonarQube, ESLint).

- Experience integrating third-party systems and working with complex APIs.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and usage of tools like Jira and Confluence.
