Job Description
Job Description for Design Quality Checker:
- Check all 2D drawings released by the customer and ensure compliance with global drawing standards.
- Coach and mentor engineers to maintain design quality.
- Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions with designers.
- Coordinate and align with the team to improve and update drawing quality.
- Check 3D models for interference and clearance.
- Check DMU (Digital Mock-Up) for digital validation, i.e., envelope and linkage study of movable and vibrating parts.
- Check 3D models for manufacturability.
- Ensure BOM structure for assemblies (parent and child with quantity and position in 3D).
- Maintain a tracker and follow up with designers for required corrections.
- Identify and propose sustainable automation solutions for error-free design release.
- Maintain vehicle DMUs for each variant and follow up on corrections.
