Jayanti - Business Analyst (3-5 yrs)

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a shrewd Business Analyst with in-depth understanding and experience in handling key accounts and MIS for our Retail Private Labelling division of export business. This job demands the knack of customer relationship management and satisfaction, while assuming accountability for such accounts and supply timely reports as the special point of contact to the global leadership team. The ideal candidate will come across as self-motivated with strong flair for numerical interpretation leading to data-driven results.

The position is based in Bangalore.

Principal Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Costing:

- Review financial results and build understanding of numbers for the Private Labelling business (monthly).

- Analyse invoice-wise P&L vs. costing to identify discrepancies (monthly).

- Conduct costing reviews for each customer (quarterly).

- Review stats files to verify accuracy continuous cycle

- Update and maintain costing sheets in line with operational changes

MIS Reporting & Data Management:

- Review accuracy of MIS files of Jayanti India (JIN) and Jayanti Turkey (JTR) (continuous cycle)

- Consistently improve data collection for Sales & Purchase MIS.

- Prepare costing reviews for each customer/account (quarterly).

- Monitor MIS results and report discrepancies (monthly).

Business & Market Insights:

- Subscribe to sales data for key markets and review outcomes (quarterly).

- Submit bi-annual performance reports for account owners.

- Work with the Business Head on a quarterly report covering all factors impacting business performance.

- Review BoM coverage and participate in coverage discussions.

- Measure and report the impact of participation in global events.

Stakeholder Coordination & Compliance:

- Liaison with cross-functional teams and assist with timely information, ensuring collaboration and operational excellence

- Ensure IC adjustments (credit/debit notes) are processed correctly.

- Report the indebtedness vs. bill payments and flag risks.

- Monitor Accounts Receivables and raise red flags when necessary.

- Monitor and report On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance for procurement and sales.

Site Visits & Global Coordination:

- Visit each manufacturing site (JIN + JTR) for one week annually.

- Visit Jayanti Global locations once annually.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

- M.B.A or equivalent Masters in Business Management fields.

- 3-5 years of experience in Business Analytics and MIS. Substantial career footprint within FMCG sector would be preferred.

- Demonstrate strong data management, financial acumen, and stakeholder coordination across sales, procurement, and manufacturing units.

- Keep abreast of the changes in domestic and international business landscape within their sector.

- Willingness to make extensive travels on business needs.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills to gather, analyse, interpret and cleanse data to make informed decisions.

- Good reporting skills and sharp intellect combined with keen eye for detail.
