Lead Strategy - (AGM/DGM)

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives across renewable and thermal domains.
• Evaluate proposals for new capacity addition and market expansion.
• Coordinate with MNRE, SECI, CERC, and other government bodies for sectoral policies and funding mechanisms.
• Support apex management with actionable insights, briefings, and stakeholder coordination on priority projects.
• Lead policy framework development, e.g., Floating Solar PV guidelines, green hydrogen banking, etc.
• Drive cross-border energy trade strategies and market design reforms.
• Collaborate to source commercial, technical, and operational inputs.
• Anchor high-value tenders, investments (BESS, gas-based procurement), and financial modelling.
• Monitor and report on ongoing government projects.
• Lead interface with legal, regulatory, and finance teams for hearings, petitions, and compliance.

Functional Competencies:

• Strong grasp of power markets (regulatory, commercial, trading, policy).
• Financial modelling for RE and storage assets.
• Excellent project management and implementation skills.
• Experience with power purchase agreements (PPA), power exchanges, and regulatory filings.
• Knowledge of SAP, dashboard systems, and digital governance tools.
