SAP BW Consultant with SAP SAC Experience

Location: Chennai/Bangalore (Onsite/Hybrid based on company policy)
Shift Timing: 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST (Second Shift)
Experience Required: 3+ Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW (Business Warehouse) Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of SAP BW data modeling, data extraction, and reporting, along with expertise in integrating and developing dashboards and analytics using SAC. This is a second-shift role to support global clients, requiring excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support SAP BW data models (DSOs, InfoCubes, Composite Providers, MultiProviders).
  
• Develop and optimize BW data flows (ETL), including extraction, transformation, and loading from SAP and non-SAP systems.
  
• Integrate SAP BW with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for real-time dashboards and advanced analytics.
  
• Build SAC Stories, Dashboards, and Analytic Applications using live or import data connections.
  
• Perform data modeling, visualization, and KPI reporting using SAC best practices.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SAP functional, BASIS, business users).
  
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues during the working shift.
  
• Support end-users and provide training/documentation when required.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in SAP BW/4HANA or classic BW 7.x.
  
• Proficient in SAP SAC (Stories, Planning, Applications).
  
• Good understanding of SAP HANA views, CDS Views, and OData services.
  
• Experience with BW queries (BEx), SAP BO tools (optional but a plus).
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in BW or SAC.
  
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
• Experience working in a global delivery model.
  

Work Environment & Shift Details:

• Shift: 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST (to support US/Europe clients)
  
• Chennai/Bangalore location (hybrid/onsite depending on business needs)
