Job Description
Knowcraft Analytics PrivateLimited is looking for a highly motivated candidate with relevant experience inthe field of US Valuations. As an Assistant Manager, we are seeking a candidatewith the following skill set.
SERVICE TYPE/EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge of the belowwill have a preference:
- Business Combinations (ASC805)
- Goodwill Impairment (ASC350/360)
- Embedded Derivatives (ASC 815)
- Gift Estate TaxValuations
- Portfolio Valuations/ FairValue Measurements (ASC 820)
- Equity Incentive Awards (ASC718 and IRC 409A)
- Building financial andforecasting models from scratch will be preferred.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning, organizing,conducting, and managing various valuation engagements.
- Managing a team while beingaccountable for the progression and reporting of the engagement to the seniormembers of the team.
- Responsible and accountablefor quality control and accuracy of deliverables.
- Communicates effectively withclients and the ability to communicate findings effectively.
- Oversees multiple valuationand consulting engagements simultaneously.
- Writes complex valuationreports and summarizes analyses and conclusions.
- Works collaboratively with theteam and is a positive contributor to the firm s culture.
- Leads, trains, and mentorssenior analysts, analysts, and other associates within the team.
- Planning for internal andexternal training for the team s personal and professional development.
- Provide inputs on matters suchas hiring new staff, production flow and other important operational needs.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- MBA (Premier B-School)
- Add-on: MS (Finance), CAand/or CFA (CFA Institute, US); and
- Certifications including CVA,ASA, and/or ABV preferred.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Minimum four years ofvaluation and/or consulting experience.
- Experience working in aleading valuation firm will have a preference.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Ability to effectivelycommunicate with the team, seniors, and clients; and
- Excellent quantitative,analytical, written, and presentation skills.
