BI Developer/Support Engineer (4-9 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a proactive and experienced BI Developer/Support Specialist to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data visualization and business reporting using Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, and Alteryx. This position is integral in supporting key decision-making processes across business units by providing insightful and high-quality dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards to visualize KPIs and business metrics.

- Support and enhance reporting functionalities in SAP BO (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports).

- Develop Alteryx workflows for data preparation and automation.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data/reporting needs.

- Perform data validation, error handling, and provide ad hoc reporting support.

- Ensure reports are optimized for performance and scalability.

Must-Have Skills :

- Advanced proficiency in Tableau (LODs, dashboard actions, calculated fields, parameters)

- Experience in developing and supporting SAP BusinessObjects reports (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports)

- Hands-on experience in Alteryx Designer for complex data workflows

- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Tableau Server administration, report scheduling, and user roles

- Understanding of domain-specific KPIs in insurance or retirement planning

- Knowledge of version control systems like Git and integration into BI pipelines
