KPMG India is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social and Rural Development Consultant.
KPMG in India is aligned with the development goals of the country and has been involved in several programmes in areas of Water, Sanitation & Hygiene, Employment, Women & Child, Housing, Financial & Social Inclusion, Rural Development & Livelihoods, Social Protection including Old Age Pension, Disability and Minorities to ensure inclusive growth. The team has provided services related to policy and regulatory design, institutional strengthening, outcome-based budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, change management and project management.
We provide these services through a large team of technical experts, social scientists, policy planners, management consultants and domain experts. Our contemporary solutions help governments make a paradigm shift from their role as conventional service providers to value based reform enablers.
To support the growth of its business, KPMG is seeking a Consultant for the Social and Rural Development team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Effectively deliver tasks on projects as guided by the project manager - in design, development, delivery and assistance with implementation of business advise / solutions which enable clients to achieve their business objectives and which reflect best practice
Qualification and Skill sets:
- 2-4 years of experience in social sector consulting
- MBA/PGDM/PGDBM/Masters in Social Science/Masters in Economics (full time) or related areas from Premier Business Schools / reputed college
- Should have prior consulting experience
- Ability to provide excellent project delivery and client service, quality on project deliverables
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills
- Willing to undertake travel at times throughout India as and when required.
- Aligning work style with established work culture and leadership team.
- High personal & professional integrity. Team player and ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines. Problem solving attitude.
- Good analytical, and knowledge management skills including writing and presentation skills. Able to communicate clearly and sensitively with internal and external stakeholders.
