Job Description
Position: Typesetting Quality Control
Education Qualification: Any Degree
Year of Experience: 3+ Years
No of Position: 1
Roles & Responsibilities:
3+ years experience in Quality Control (STM Books) is mandatory
The candidate must be capable of confirming whether the received corrections are aligned with proper style
Reviewing layouts, text, images, and overall design for errors, inconsistencies, and adherence to brand guidelines and project specifications
The candidate should be able to enquire/inform the author and editor for style mismatches and other needed information
The Individual should be capable enough to handle all type of correction files such as pdf/word/xml/notepad
The candidate needs to be capable enough to understand non-native authors comments and editors comments
It is essential that the candidate is capable of understanding non-regular books, journals/Articles, covers, ToC and fillers
Excellent written and verbal communication
