The Software Engineer (Web Developer) will design, develop test, and support Leaflet products. Job Functions Working as part of an existing team to develop, implement and support new business applications requirements. Working with product development to understand the best practice recommendations on application setups and processes, to resolve product issues, as well as any new functionality that may be needed. Desired Skills and Experience Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering with 2+ years working experience. Strong experience in JavaScript/ HTML5/ CSS3/ jQuery Understanding of browser developer tools. Experience writing custom libraries and APIs that align with current RESTful standards. Strong experience with one or more modern JS frameworks such as: React, Node. js, Meteor, Angular 2, Backbone Experience with Agile development practices. Good knowledge of SQL and exposure to Relational and or No SQL databases is a must. Excellent communication skills are preferred. Nice to have Bootstrap, Material Design Experience with SASS/ Less ES6/ ES, Typescript UI Build Frameworks NPM, Grunt, Gulp JS Testing Frameworks Mocha, Jasmine Experience consuming REST API using async methods in partnership with back-end development teams. Expert in user interface development, engineering cross-browser.
