Mainframe Developer - CICS/COBOL (4-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development : Design, develop, and implement COBOL programs to meet business requirements.

- CICS Development : Develop and maintain CICS online transaction processing applications, including screen design, program logic, and error handling.

- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including performance bottlenecks and system failures.

- Change Management : Adhere to change management processes and procedures to ensure system stability and security.

- Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts, system analysts, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in CICS and COBOL.

- Strong understanding of COBOL programming concepts, including data structures, control flow, and I/O operations.

- Proficiency in CICS online transaction processing, including screen design, program logic, and error handling.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Flexibility to work on both development and maintenance projects.

- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

- Knowledge of Corporate Banking domain (preferred).
