Job Description
- Design, plan, direct and co-ordinate activities of Instrumentation, Industrial Automation.
- Study of Tender documents, Specifications, Engineering inputs, RFQs to understand Project
requirements, Preparation of QR sheet as per customer inputs.
- Cost estimation & Proposal for project enquiries of Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation
packages, Selection of instruments, PLC systems, MCC panel systems, HMI/SCADA, Offer
discussions with suppliers, Vendor development.
- Preparation of detail documentation: Data sheets, Instrument Index, Interlock list, Set point &
Alarm list, PLC IO list, Control philosophy, Screen/ Graphic MMI document, Cause & Effect diagram.
- Auto CAD proficiency in System Architecture, Instrument location plan, JB location Plan,
Hook ups, Cable tray layouts, Instrument tubing layout, Panel electrical wiring diagram & GAD etc., Evaluation of drawings.
- Preparation of Instruments Installation, calibration, troubleshooting, check list, technical
documents such as test reports, calibration reports etc.
- Logic Development, HMI/ SCADA screen development & testing, System Configuration,
Shutdown & Start up Logic Diagram.
- Procurement activities of Electrical & Instrument, technical clearance of quotations from
vendor to procurement, GAD approvals, QAP approval, Inspection of Materials.
- Review of BOQ, Material Inspection. Technical Comparisons, Technical Discussions, technical recommendations.
- Co-ordination for SAT, FAT, Installation & Commissioning of projects, Troubleshooting.
- Post-Comm. technical support to the team and client.
- Instrumentation and Industrial Automation Training to Clients & New Employees.
- Maintenance, troubleshooting and Calibration of field instruments.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Must be aware of basic autocad.
